Reminders from our Chapter Head

Hello Bros & Sis,

An Amazing thing happened to me today! (08/05/13) My Ethan Francis was born 12:25PM at 7.5lbs.
I said amazing because I witnessed a miracle! Holding Faye’s hand and hearing his cry for the first time brought tears to my eyes! I just Praised God for His wonderful gift!

Of course everybody knew that this miracle started with SFC, and to make it more specific at an SFC Conference in Palawan, Philippines.

I will take this opportunity to tell you something that I love about conferences, of course the worship, the talks and the brotherhood and sisterhood are all a good thing to look forward to but, more importantly the experience and privilege to attend a conference that I know would always be a lifetime memory! So guys, Make it AMAZING! Witness a miracle! Make the most out of this weekend.

For all of you that are delegates, enjoy God and make your memories count! I know the saying “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!” But let’s break that rule and shout to the world and the people around us “You need to know what happened in Vegas!”.

I warn you, a lot of distractions are around you! It will also be a test of your commitment to be witnesses. You will be free to roam around, come to think of it you could even escape and skip the talks and activities and go to the poker room or slot machine area, but ask yourself “Will that make this Vegas trip different, Will it make this weekend a milestone in my life?”

So again bothers and sisters, make the most out of this conference! When my Ethan Francis grows up someday I could always tell him that in one SFC Conference in Palawan my life changed.. I worshiped, I witnessed and I met your mom!

Also, There are rules that I know some of our Kuyas and Ates forwarded you already like gambling ,drinking, etc. (typical Vegas stuff). Be one with me in saying “Let’s do that on another Vegas trip”. This weekend, “exclusively” be a WITNESS to God’s power and proclaim that whatever that is going to happen in Vegas.. must remain in my life as the best VEGAS trip ever.

And, don’t forget to enjoy!!!! wish we could be there!

Reminders:

+ Please note Registration will open at 1:00 pm on Friday (not noon as listed on the site).
+ Actual room check-in time is being confirmed for sure on Wednesday at our meeting with the venue.

Things to Bring:
- Appropriate attire for mass on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Rosary, Bible, Notebook and Pen
- Mask and formal wear for Masquerade Ball

Other Reminders:
- Encourage delegates to go to Confession before conference
- Encourage delegates to learn the Conference songs posted on the website
- Encourage delegates to attend Friday mass at 4:45 pm - Delegates can experience for the first time a Maronite Divine Liturgy.
- The official event begins at 7:30 pm. Dinner is NOT included.

Cluster T-Shirt Design

This is our SFC Socal Cluster Shirt Design that we will wear on Saturday of the Conference. Gaile and Mike got your sizes last Tuesday. They will distribute it on Friday at the conference. Please contact them for payment.
